Drop Off Locations

The Monongalia County Solid Waste Authority (MCSWA) has provided several drop off locations around Monongalia County. At these sites, the public can drop off recyclables 24/7. The Monongalia County Community Recycling Center (MCCRC) also accepts recyclables 24/7.

The MCCRC accepts: cardboard, newspaper, office paper, plastic (#1 PETE, #2 HDPE), steel cans, aluminum cans, and glass (clear, brown, green). The drop off locations accepts the same recyclables except for office paper. Office paper is currently only accepted at the MCCRC. The Cheat Lake Church site does NOT collect glass.

The drop off locations are placed strategically around Monongalia County to make recycling as convenient as possible for the public. You can find the exact location of the sites by looking at this map. The drop off locations are:
