The DEA is holding another drug take-back day on April 28. It is sponsored by the US Department of Justice and DEA. The collection takes place from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
The collections in Monongalia County will be held at the Sheriff’s Office at 116 Walnut St., and at the Pierpont Landing Pharmacy at 7000 Midatlantic Rd. The collection is anonymous. Prescription and OTC medications such as tablets and capsules will be accepted. IV’s, needles and injection based medications will NOT be accepted. Neither will illegal substances.
